I am Indian citizen residing legally in France for the past five years. My fiancee is American and she has received a notice of action stating that our K1 visa petition approval has been sent to the NVC from the Nebraska centre. How long will it take for me before the visa interview is scheduled in Paris? (We've a baby born five months ago in Chicago, IL and my fiancee and I have met a couple of times during the past year in Europe and even after the baby was born)

it will probably be a week or two you should get information from the american embassy in france. my fiance got thiers in like three days after i got the letter they forwarded the petition to the embassy in the other country.

The NVC is usually quite quick - definitely quicker than the USCIS. I'm sure it depends a lot on the embassy in paris, but I guess no longer than a month or two - that's about how long it took mine.
