Absolutely. Tom Tancredo at least has the guts to stand up for the American People and not try to placate the illegal lobby. I will vote for anyone that is willing to put his political career on the line to do what is right. This is the most important issue facing America today. Some say it is Iraq but I disagree. What the Iraqi insurgents see is an America that is so weak that it cannot control it's borders and does not have the intestinal fortitude to enforce it's laws. These actions give them the strength to hold on and persevere. It is a known fact that more Americans are killed by illegal aliens than have perished in the war. The deaths caused by the illegals is preventable. If they were not here they couldn't kill...simple as that. The deaths in Iraq are also preventable but if you had to choose between the two wouldn't you choose the one that would prevent the MOST deaths or would you stick with that perverted logic that Americans kill Americans therefore that is not a valid reason to get rid of illegal immigration?
I think you have the people reversed since of them only Tancredo has thrown his hat into the ring.
I might vote for him, but I am still looking at candidates. I also heard from detractors that he said something about 'bombing Mecca' which I would like to see in context. (For example if he said 'that would be like our bombing Mecca', that is one thing. If on the other hand he said 'let's go bomb Mecca' that would be another.) I don't mind a variety of opinions in our House, but our President needs credibility around the world.
