yes, with over a million LEGAL immigrants per year, I believe it shows that Americans have open arms.

as to the ILLEGAL immigrants, what's so wrong about asking them to do it the right way? Especially when many seem to have an entitlement mentality, and disregard many other laws here also.

I think it's perfectly fine to just enforce the laws that we have on the books now. Or pass laws similar to Mexico's own immigration laws...which are a lot more stringent than ours. We should also put benchmarks on Mexico to improve their economy instead of sending their people over the border.

America is run by large corporations, not "we the people."
Global corporations want cheaper labor, and with this "best government that money can buy" working for them, they will have their way, unless we contact Congress and tell them to vote against S. 1348 or any bill granting amnesty to illegals.
I find it silly that Hispanic calls America Racist because we are attacking illegal immigration. half of all legal immigrants are Mexicans. THis means well over half of all legal immigrants are hispanics. If there are any discrimination, our immigration policy discriminate for, not against Hispanics. Racism is the attempt of one race, nationality, culture and religion to take an unfair advantage of another. The pressure for us to allow more hispanic immigrants in despite other nationalities wanting to come in as well, seems to fit my definition.
