When and who can revoke your citizenship, based on what?
Answer:
Well, they won't revoke it if you committed a horrific crime, you would either be imprisoned, or on death row. Other than that, no one will, or can, unless your parents were here illegally, had you, and lied on your birth certificate where you we born, or lied about their names.
I don't think a U.S citizen by birth can get it revoke???
maybe if get a extra citizenship and do one of the below!!!
1. Convicted For An Act Of Treason Against The United States
2. Holding A Policy Level Position In A Foreign Country
3. Serving In Your Native Country’s Armed Forces If That Country Is Engaged In Hostilities Or At War With The United States.
4. Serving In Your Native Country’s Armed Forces As An Officer Or A Non-Commissioned Officer
5. Lying To The USCIS During The Naturalization Process
6. Refusal To Testify Before Congress About Your Subversive Activities
Very rarely is citizenship ever removed even if NOT born here. I have a vague recollection that once someone who had naturalized somewhere else AND committed serious offences had their citizenship removed. The world doesn't want stateless people, though. I have never heard of citizenship being removed for having different beliefs, that is where the first amendment comes in. Now if your belief says you need to plant bombs places and blow things up, you can get trouble for the bombs ...
