Do I have to get my passport renewed now that I am married?

If your name has changed by other means and/or it has been more than one year from the date of issuance of the passport, you must submit a DS-82 renewal application and pay all applicable fees. See Renewal for information on the DS-82.
You need to contact your local passport office and ask specifically about your situation. Though the United States should let you leave here with a different name on your passport, another country is not obligated to let you leave there and get back home with a different name on your passport. You will have to find out specifically if Cancun will accept a passport with a marriage license verifying your name change. Please don't neglect checking on this because a friend of mine got stuck in another country and had to go through an embassy and 3 1/2 days of expense and troubles just to get permission to come back to the US all because she did not take time/money to get a name change on her passport. She had 3 photo IDs with her married name, her marriage license, her social security card and her passport with her maiden name. She was denied passage because she had no photo ID proving her maiden name, so they had no way to verify that she was the person named in the marriage license. That is the excuse they gave her.

Im not 100% sure about this but I think that if you bring along your proof of marriage/name change that should suffice.

You have a driver's license with your current name that matches any plane ticket you might have. That is sufficient to get you through security. Your passport is mainly just for getting you back into the United States, and it has your picture on it and is a legitimate and current passport, so you will be fine.
Your passport could say Jane Smith on it, and that would be fine for getting you back into the country as long as it's current and your picture is on it.
Yes you do because it has to be under the same name as your social security. and you don't have to expedited it takes about six weeks
I am not totally sure but you should call and ask.I would think so because the new last name will need to match your other ID.
Go under your maiden name, how will they know you are married. Or take your marriage license with you to show name change.
