For the same reasons that the US and Russia are not. AND Canada is not a member of OPEC
Why are you assuming the average US citizen would rather shape our policy around oil than push clean fuels and shape our policy around our ideals and culture?

does it really matter? as long as they get their money for what they sell. no one should complain. i think all country's need to have a nation wide lock down. mexico has terrorist in their country, their allover. no one should be allowed to come or go. we need to get rid of all illegals and legals who are a treat. world war 3 is coming.
