Are we headed for "race war" in America?
Both sides are using hurtful language like "racist" ,"genocidal","illegal","stolen land", etc. etc.
The groups seem sharply devided along racial and linguistic lines. Banners of radical communism, fascism, etc.
are beginning to appear among the Mexican and American flags being waved.
If our stupid government does'nt do something to solve this problem fairly. Is it actually too late? Have they let it slip so far now that race war is inevitable?

i know man, im actually ashamed of those type of mexicans, the ones that are being racist(im mexican) and i really want this to stop. i want everyone to just go back to live their normal lives. i used to be racist, but i stopped becuase i found out i was scared. and thats different. this is reminding me a litttle of that time when martin luther king was protesting and people were really violent, but the only difference is, its mexicans instead of african americans, and its less violent. what happened in l.a. i expected it to happen because l.a. is a really dangerous place.
No hopefully the terrorists will nuke us before that happens

The poor, be it black, hispanic, asian or white have one thing in common - Poverty.
Poverty is the No.1 cause of crime AND racial tension. When a poor indiginous american see's a poor non-indigenious non-american being given something for free or out of turn, their soul sours and some might say, rightly so.
Poor people are victimised and picked on continually by the rich, whether they are white, black, hispanic or other. That is the sad truth.
Multi-culturalism is an EXCUSE to pay border jumpers less than people who worked hard to earn more.

Im seeing a lot of people saying stuff like "if they would come in legally then it would be okay." THIS IS THE PROBLEM! Until this U.S. Govt makes a feasible way for lower and middle class immigrants (Mexican and otherwise, THERE ARE ILLEGAL CANADIANS/CHINESE, ETC) to enter America, then it will always be like this...To get into this country you are put on a waiting list for around 2-10 years (5 for my family) and then you must pay roughly $7,000.00 in paper work over those years to get accepted into a smaller group of people to take a test. This test asks us questions that 85% of the American people do not even know.like who was 18th president.when was Jamestown established..Name 3 famous Revolutionary War Generals.things like that..Now you tell me this is fair..? Bull.
The race war has always been there it's just the media that is picking up the outrageous PC society we have become. Race is not the issue, quit trying to play that card. Legal status is the issue, regardless of race.
Race war? It could happen in small doses if the conditions are set and minorities feel wronged they will riot and others will start fighting. On a large scale no but between small groups yes.
Well, it sure has a lot of people mad.I would say it is more of a culture war.I agree, the govt. is completely out of touch with its people.There is a huge disconnect in Washington and it mainly has to do with the problems in Mexico and how they are spilling into our country.I am feeling the back lash here as a Mexican/American, 1st generation US citizen.I do see both sides of the issue..I am very troubled by the bashing of my culture.Its disturbing.

The government should resolve this issue fast, to stop any type of conflict.
They should go after the people that hire them. That is what makes them come here. They are always eager for opportunity, no matter what the cost.
it's not about race- why would it be a "race war" it's about illegal immigrants - how is using the word "illegal" hurtful- that is what it is... people knowingly and purposely broke our law- that's why it's "illegal"- there is no race in illegal immigrants- only legality- how hard is that to understand... Mexicans are not the only Hispanics- We have thousands of American Citizens that are Hispanic and we have thousands more legal immigrants that are Hispanic... it's not about race- it's about people coming over here illegally

There is linguistic divide. However in the past when someone immigrated to this country They Learned The Language! They didn't speak their native language except in the privacy of their home.

No we are not. Please stop using the phrase "la raza" as if it were one giant organization. There is no such thing. It is a widely used phrase that means "the people" not "the race". In literal English translation "la raza" means "the race" but thats not how it is used. You have to consider usage when translating.
