Apply US green card for parents?
Answer:
You (as a green card holder and permanent resident) CANNOT sponsor your parents into the US. You must be a US citizen to do so.
You do meet the legal age requirement (minimum 21). The last requirement is that you can support them financially through their own immigration process - without them earning a cent. This is something you'll need to figure out for yourself ... you haven't provided enough information for me to make that call.
Note that the amount of support can be approximated as $100 US per person per day, for a minimum 182 days (time to process the application). It would be better to assume 365 days, just in case things get bogged down in the process, though.
You have to become a US citizen in order to file for your parents. Since you recieve your green card in 2005 and if you did not break your residency you can file to become a US citizen in 2010.
you have to be a citizen to file for your parents as soon as you become naturalized first and as soon as that is complete you can petition for them. You needto atleast have your green card for 4 years in order to becom a citizen.
