We need not only the fence we need a real leader to guide us from the quagmire of partisan politics and genuflecting to the demands of a few, over the objections of many. Secure our borders,build the fence, reject amnesty as the free ride for law breakers it is.

Wow... I am from the East Coast, we do not get to see the immediate problems with illegal immigration, we are just now having some of the issues that the West has had for years. My sympathies go out to those out West and a new respect for how well it has been handled up to this point.
As for the fence, in my opinion that was to appease the people for a while and this new reform is to appease the people for a little while longer... You know the baindaid on a gaping wound theory.
it's sad how the bush puts a stop to things. I'm beginning to think hes being pressured by the dems to pass this bill. maybe he knows what could be the out come of all the mess he made. and people need to realize Americans are not afraid to go to war. we do have strong back bones.
