Will the government stop illegal immigration, or will the people be forced to do it?

Corruption right and left. The people want illegal immigration stopped. Why do they refuse? How are they profiting?

Answer:
The Democratic party benefits from illegal immigration in a few ways, some more theoretical than others. Beloved socialist programs like Social Security depend on an ever-expanding tax base to remain solvent, the US population isn't expanding, so population must be imported, that's immigration, and the legal limits are too low to do the job. Immigrants, even illegal ones, can eventually become citizens (through Amnesty, for instance), and, failing that, have children who are citizens - since illegal immigrants are overwhelmingly minorities, they presage an increase in minority voters, who have historically supported Democratic candidates.

The Republicans benefit more simply. They are strongly pro-business, and traditionally anti-union. Illegals generally can't benefit from unionization or laws meant to protect employees, so employers - presumably 'the rich' who support the republican party - can exploit them, paying them less, and reaping greater profits.

That's also why Democrats are for Amnesty and Republicans for 'Guest Worker' programs - even though the American People overwhelmingly oppose both.
Your right the government has failed to do it's job and secure our borders. Now I guess it's up to the citizens to take action into our own hands.
My feeling is the people will have to start taking the law and enforcing it.
Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators!
Unlawful Entry is a CRIME. Leave it Now. Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators! No amnesty, no "stealth-amnesty." No "change of status," marriage fraud, "exceptional leave to remain," no "Temporary Protected Status." If you break the law, depart or be deported. Illegal aliens kill more US citizens each year than the war in Iraq has killed in four years. Apologists for illegal immigration like to paint it as a victimless crime. But in fact, illegal immigration causes substantial harm to American citizens and legal immigrants, particularly those in the most vulnerable sectors of our population--the poor, minorities, and children. Additionally, job competition by waves of illegal immigrants willing to work at substandard wages and working conditions depresses the wages of American workers, hitting hardest at minority workers and those without high school degrees. Illegal immigration also contributes to the dramatic population growth overwhelming communities across America--crowding school classrooms, consuming already limited affordable housing, and straining precious natural resources like water, energy, and forestland. Taxpayers are being forced to pay for the free health care, education, and other welfare programs being given to illegal aliens; Those tax dollars could be given back to U.S. taxpayers or used to keep our borders secure; They may be here illegally, but they sure know how to "work the system" to collect "free" medical care, "free" education, "free" food, Section 8 housing vouchers and other housing assistance, and hundreds of other social services. It costs citizens additional hundreds of billions of tax dollars at every level: local, state, and federal. It gobbles up billions of our charitable contributions. And much of that money ends up siphoned out of our economy and into offshore accounts. Illegal aliens, over half of whom work "under the table" with neither job nor income reported (nor taxed), are not counted as employed or unemployed. But some of those day-labor and off-the-books "job-lets" would be "real" jobs - available to American citizen job-seekers - if employment regulations were enforced. Illegal aliens can get away with tax evasion, et al., which citizens cannot. In short, we have too many workforce entrants and too few jobs created. The ratio works out to roughly 7-10 workforce entrants per job created. If all illegal aliens depart or are deported, all legal immigration halted, and all temporary employment visas abolished, we still have a problem with more US-born workforce entrants than new jobs created. Illegal immigration damages our country and our citizens every day at every level. And not even the attacks of 2/26 and 9/11 have awakened many Americans to the vast dangers illegal immigration poses to our selves, our families, our communities, our society, our values, our principles, our civilization. Zero Tolerance for Immigration-Law Violators! We must remember the lessons of 2/26, 9/11, and the costs we bear every single day. God Bless the U S A !
Have you ever thought that maybe economic imperialism from the U.S. has a lot to do with why people are over here? Did that thought ever come into your mind? Or was your mind simply too closed to accept something like that? Do you really think stopping "illegal" immigration will solve the problem?
you said it my friend, CORRUPTION and THe U S GOVERNMENT partners in crime, the largest organized crime ring going. They are responsible for the 911 happenings, the devestation in New Orleans, ETC. We the people have lost our rights and freedom An illegal is given tax breaks, homes, etc. I Love America but have no use for its governing body and/or law enforcement, they make small time crooks of the mafia in comparison
the government will never stop illegal immigration.. there's too much money to be made by both the corrupt politicans and the government. How are they profiting... dishonest business owners will hire 100 illegals for their work instead of 25 quality workers..(quality workers being LEGAL immigrants from any country)
The only way the American people can stop our borders from being crossed by Illegals, Is to find one politician who is not afraid of being politically incorrect or afraid of losing the Hispanic vote, and then have the voters Republican or Democrat who truly want our borders protected to stand with him/her through the storm that will surely ensue this candidate. this is what you call Democracy at work.
The government does not feel motivated to enforce our immigration laws, I do not condone taking the law into your own hands but something must be done. The best way for now is to write your state, local and federal government to express your views and of course your vote, find out how your candidates stand on illegal immigration.

They are profiting by cheap labor, $$ is the reason most politicians turn their head to illegal immigration, even if it is the taxpayer picking up the tab for everything.
As long as big business runs the government, Washington will never do anything ( well but for giving in and giving illegal aliens what they want ). It may just come down to, we the people taking things into our own hands, and doing what Washington, will not do. And yes, you are right, every poll shows we want this problem taken care of, and every poll I've seen says, No amnesty, and No reform.
the demonrats say look at all those demonrat voters and nannies and fruit pickers cheap labor and people who need the taxpayers to help them. the republicants say look at all that cheap labor. the people will eventually have to put a stop to it hopefully by voting out the present bunch of whatevers in congress and replacing them but if not i would be prepared to do whatever i could at the local level to stop it
The Government AND the People will NOT stop illegal immigration because both are too disunited to act effectively as a united front. There are too many interests groups and lobbies - from civil rights to ethnic rights and human rights - representing an America founded on democratic principles, liberty and freedom. Oh yes I forgot... it's politically right too!
I fear a revolution is brewing.
The people! If they think 10,000 illegals is impressive, wait until they see 30 million PISSED OFF AMERICANS!!
Thats good you wanna start a civil war.

But I tell you boy ... starting a civil war for a developted country like the US would be like going backwards 200 years so basicly that would end the American Empire.

So you still wanna do it ?? ... go head then !!
The people are going to have to do something, its pretty apparent the government is going to, they keep pushing for amnesty. We all no why, and its to hell with the American tax payer.
We need to start sending money to the Ron Paul campaign, here is a guy without a lot of money and when you read what he believes, he is our only hope. But, lets face it, it takes a lot of money to run and he doesn't have it. The guys with the money are trying to keep him out of the limelight because he has the guts to stand and tell it like it is. I have to believe if everyone would get themselves informed about him, he is our man.
Go to : www.ronpaul2008.com and I think you will agree.
The way things are going it's be the citizens here to stop it since our elected officials do not care about us!
I think if the government would just let them come and go as we can in their country then we wouldn't be having a problem to start with.

Many of them work very hard and have paid taxes and have not got anything back, but alot of trouble from the rest of the peolpe in this country that doesn't understand where their coming from and what they've been through.

I know how they feel cause I'm married to a great man that works his butt off to support me and my kids. We've never asked or had any help from anyone. We've worked very hard for all that we have. And now all that don't see or don't want to see can't and never will understand.

I wish that everone would open their eyes and look at it from their point of view. Maybe a day in their shoes and anyone and everyone would understand!!
If things keep going the way they are the people will be forced to stop it. The Minutemen (of which I am a member) are helping the Border Patrol. You can help by calling and e-mailing your local politicians and telling them how you feel about illegal immigration. Also, check out this link. http://www.lframerica.com/march2.html...
