Do think it is ok for our military to fight and die to protect every one Else's border but not our own?

It's not right and our Border Patrol should not serve time for doing their jobs. We have the National Guard there but they are not allowed to use deadly force to stop an illegal alien. They actually had to call 911 for assistance! How can our borders be protected if our 'protecters' can't defend their ownselves. They should be armed and have the authority to shoot ANYONE who comes across that border without going through a checkpoint.
America is under attack from Mexico. Seriously. It is time to put troops on the border.

We currently protect South Korea's border, Iraq's borders, and we used to protect borders in Europe. We have troops in over 135 countries around the world. Six countries have more U.S. troops than the number of troops in America.
That is why we have the border patrol and police. The military is not trained to police on its own soil.
No its not okay. Get those troops and national gaurd straight to the border now before one more single mexican or other alien gets across.

Our troops are shedding their blood, sweat, and tears for a lost cause. I can't believe that our President has sold us all out this way.. It makes me weep just to think about how much we've all lost as a nation.

No, I think it's awful. Our government spends so much time helping other countries instead of ours it's ridiculous. We shouldn't have homeless people or all of the other b/s that goes on here in America either.....

I must confess, I would feel a whole lot better about saving and protecting the Iraqi people from their neighbors and getting them jobs and Hospitals--If we would just do it for OURSELVES FIRST!!!!!

Very good question. No, I dont think it is ok for this to happen. Now, let me ask you a question. Do you think it is ok for everyone other than the Mexicans to have to follow strict immigration laws, but they can swim over and never have to worry about being tossed back from where they came? I want a refund of all of the money (which was a TON) that I had to pay to get my wife (who is Australian) into the United States. This is total and utter discrimination.

No it's not okay, what is going on at our borders is a travesty, have any of you seen the video by the October Sun Films - The Illegal Immigration Invasion- April 2-2006, it basically shows how our government has more or less stated that illegal immigration is okay, it shows Mexicans holding signs and chanting for us Americans aka racists to go home. A professor from Texas University says that they are invading the US in the form of migration and that they are taking back land that is already theirs, do you know that Clinton awarded a man a medal of honor who says california will be the first hispanic state in America. Clinton and Bush have both signed treaties stating that they will not mobilize military on our borders. (WHY?) Please watch this video if you care about our country this video is almost a year old, frankly these are the beginnings of some dark times for our nation and our elected officals don't seem to care because they are not affected by this influx of illegal immigrants, our government is blind to the crisis and unless we take a stand as Americans nothing will change. All our politicians seem to care about is more votes for their party. It sickens me! Border patrol are ignoring illegals and stopping and frisking the minutemen (WTF) they are also told to retreat and not engage (EXCUSE ME)
I think this behavior has gone on long enough I don't know exactly what I can do(and I don't need any smart *** remarks from any stupid people who don't know their @ss from a hole in the ground to comment) but I do know that when election time comes around I will definitely do my research on the candidates and if they don't support border closure they won't get my vote or my wifes or my 2 sons or any of my familys votes for that matter. And do you know that some illegals are allowed to vote in our elections and that promient mexicans are telling their people to come here and vote for the good of mexicans and that they can be dual citzens and also vote in their country. No it is not right at all,somthing is really wrong with our goverment. And why don't the illegal people hear have to go to war{or is that why some are hear}. I really don't understand why we have to be the big brother to these other countries. We do have way to many homeless and poor people that need the help FIRST.
