The tale of the battle of the Alamo is BS There were no American survivors, to tell that story Mexican history states that Davey Crockett was found hiding under a pile of bedding and was dragged out and executed. Another fact that is hidden about the Alamo was there was also Mexicans defending the mission.
The same is true of Custards last stand, it is a fact that there was no last stand, troopers ran in all directions, and were traced by people with medal detectors and hammer markings on american brass that indicated the route an individual trooper took by following his brass trail

It is what it is. I am for Mexicans coming to the States, but a state cannot go to Mexico.
Your right, these people refused to obey Mexico's sovereign laws which were opposed to slavery.But gee, its never MENTIONED in our history books..We get the sanitize version.Slavery was again, another cause of conflict/war in this country..I guess these people will always have their slave labor, no matter, even to present day.
Did you know that the documents that brought Texas into the union guarantees them the right to split up into 4 states at any time, thus giving them 8 votes in the senate. Kind of crazy, huh?
You haven't a clue. The Alamo was fought during the Texas revolution to secede from Mexico cause the dictator Santa Anna was a butthead. A very large majority of those fighting for independence were themselves MEXICANS. By the time the Mexican-American war was fought, Texas had already beaten a Mexican army that was bigger and better armed, won their freedom and formed their own Republic.
sorry to inform you but I think most people know that the white people in Texas didn't want to follow mexican law. Its actually funny , the mexicans allowed the white people to come into Texas and then were surprised that suddenly they wanted to be their own country. The reverse is happpening now
And the US did not invent slavery!! It was around before and even after and is still around today in other parts of the world~!!
The Mexican-American War was not fought over slavery. America was expanding and wanted more land. America thought they could bully Mexico into giving up their land and when that didn,t work it turned into war. It's hard to say who was right or wrong, but you need to go back and study history from both the American and Mexican sides. The Mexican-American War was fought from 1846-1848. The Civil War was fought from 1861-1865
If Davey Crockett was hiding under his bed begging for his life like you claim, then he was basically murdered, without mercy. Just just like a Mexican drug lord would do today. We should thank the Mexicans for their brutality, it motivated us to win the war, and in time made Texas, Arizona and California a place worth living in, and not a place worth escaping.

The Texas revolution was the only successful revolution against the Anti-Federal Mexican Constitution of 1835. Several states of Mexico rose up in revolt against Santa Ana's power grab. Look up the Republic of the Yucatan and the Republic of the Rio Grande.
