Alfred...I live in a border town. They should not have a license PERIOD. Driving is NOT a right, it is a priviledge and illegals are not even supposed to be here. I can guarantee you that more than half of illegals driving do not have insurance. BUT we will never know the exact numbers, because Police Officers cannot ask them about their citizenship. Why would they get insurance? They usually drive around beaters that they can dump in a blink of an eye if they get into an accident. Don't most insurance companies run credit checks? Who's SSN # and credit are they ruining? Ask yourself those questions, because one day it might be YOURS.
if there are enough of them, any politician that gives them these rights will most likely also get their vote. politics. nothing in politics has to do with what people really believe. and besides, what do you care if they do?
In the early 90's MTV sponsored the MotorVoter. Basically if you got a license you were registered to vote. Some states still do it.
my dear friend what do you you preffer a driver with a drivers license or a driver with no insurance and no drivers license? come on all drivers must hhave a drivers license and insurance here in usa no matter if they are legally or not. But they shouldnt be allowed to vote.

They get registered to vote when they get their Drivers License. In North Carolina over 400,000 people used Social Security Number 000-00-0000 when they got their license, before the law was changed two years ago.
