It's called jealousy and greed at the two ends.
They hate America because they are jealous of the numerous opportunities for those who dare.
They try hard to get there because they want those same opportunities.

Not everyone wants to go there I am quite happy in Australia and its not America we hate it is your politics and mostly your leader.
We also have free health and education for ALL our citizens.
Mr Zuper Z seems to forget we were the first country to back Bush's illegal war in Iraq typical of some ungrateful yanks.And I didn't say I hate America just your leader and I don't think I am alone.And when you have actually won a war you can say you will save us but you couldn't even go to Vietnam Afghanistan or Iraq without Britain, Australia and other countries holding your hand.

Obviously, not everyone outside America hates America. It is a very loud, very extreme, very vocal minority that hates America. Sadly it is the ones who make the most noise who usually make the TV news. Ordinary people who either like America or are indifferent to her don't usually make it on TV.
Because it is one of the few places where you can bad mouth anything and everything without being shot.
Free health care, free food, no income taxes, no property or school taxes, no car insurance, they get to protest in our streets, etc..etc..
That is why they come here.

we don't like the USA because, we don't appreciate the fact that most of you are not opened to different cultures. For instance few of native americans can speak a foreign language...and what I really hate is that when you re in a foreign country you speak to people in english like if it was natural that everyone speak english...
I won't tell every stereotype I hear in my country (Belgium) ...but I 'm just gonna give you an advice: try to dicover new cultures and learn foreign languages (In your case spanish would be useful)
I know you don't like what I've just said...I also know that some native are opened to different cultures but not enough.
