Do i still need a F-1 (student) visa even if i have a dependent E-2 visa?

i am applying to study at houston commuity college.. and also i'm wondering if it is possible to have both of those visa.. tnx alot

Answer:
As an E-2, you may study part-time, as long as it is incidental to your other work, which is the basis for your E-2 visa. You are not eligible for a concurrent F-1 visa - you must pick one or the other (F-1's may only engage in limited employment under specific circumstances).
