Legal Residents, Employment and Social Security?

My last question wasn't phrased correctly. If a person is a legal resident, has gotten all the paperwork, social and what-not, commits a misdemeanor and needs to RE-APPLY for a social security card, can they do so? What about employment? What if any are the laws and regulations regarding a NON-CITIZEN commiting a crime in this country in regards to employment, social security cards, welfare. If they have a child who was born here does that have circumstancial affect?

Answer:
Look, once you have a Social Security number there's no such thing as needing to reapply for a new one. If you lost the card you can get a replacement, but it almost takes an act of Congress to change the number.

The only times I've ever heard of people getting a new number is in cases where hundreds of illegal aliens are all using a real person's number.

If you've got a Green Card it takes an aggravated felony for you to be deported. A misdemeanor will have no effect.
You needs a Lawyer.
