How do you feel illegal immigrants are vital to our economic growth?
Answer:
Hi Suse, normally the people that talk thrash here are basically thrash themselves. They feel threatened that undocumented immigrants come here to take their welfare paycheck but in reality they come here to work and contribute to society by paying taxes. They feel that being bi-lingual is a bad thing but just too lazy to learn a different language, lazy to do the jobs Americans wont do, and complain about everything. If something is not to their advantage they sue their employer, that is why is vital to have the responsible, hard working Latino working force here in America to keep it being a great nation and not leave it to the hands of xenophobes threatening to continue to give this country a bad name.
There is NOTHING positive about the WORD ILLEGAL!
They help employers who are trying to get an unfair advantage over their competition. That's it!
The reason we want the Illegals to stay because they have made purchases on credit. We need that $ back.
they are vital to people who wants cheap labor.
Coming above our quotas that are in place to save our schools and services, their better life is at our expense. Specifically, their children's education is stolen from our children and their health care from our sick.
There is nothing 'vital' about coming in numbers ABOVE those we consider good policy for our country.
And we got this land the same way their countries got their land. THEREAFTER we built the schools and services and subsidies that make what is north of the Rio Grande different from what is south of the Rio Grande.
They're illegal here. Let them go back to their home countries and better themselves there.
They are helping many law enforcement and ICE people stay employed.
so something positive huh? lets see what is positive about breaking the law???
I know this is bad, but having them here, helps business owners compete with items made overseas like China. They pay there workers less than a dollar an hour, and for illegals they get paid $5 to $8 dollars an hour(if their lucky) and if legal person wanted the job, they would expect $10.00 or more.
I was going to answer you until I read your last sentence.FOOL.
In other words, you want to hear only what you want to hear. Tough.
Illegal immigrants are NOT vital to the US economy. They are not necessary. They are not an advantage in any way, shape or form.
And illegals, especially those from Mexico have NO claim on this land. You're apparently falling for the la raza line that Mexicans are native to this continent. Try reading a history book for a change, and you'll find out just how wrong you are.

First of all: Illegal Immigration isn't good for the economy, because of the fact that since non-citizens can't get good jobs, or legally get the federal minimum wage, they'll only get the $4 dollar an hour job that you could pay the kid down the street to do.
If you aren't paying a person a living wage, he will ask the government for help, and that will demand more tax money from people who hold legal jobs.
I will respectfully disagree with you about who owned what land. Prior to the european settlers in 1492, the only people who had settled large tracts of land were..nobody. Okay, maybe the pueblo indians had, but they were the only one's who had permanent places of residence. Every other tribe wandered, following the buffalo, or the deer.
As to Mexican's owning anything, they didn't. A true mexican is an indigenous indian living deep in the interior, and not one who can hold power. Most of the Affluent Mexicans of today are descendants of Spanish settlers that came from Spain.
As for our borders, we either won them in battle (Mexican-American war, Texas war of Independance,) or bought them (Lousiana purchase.) The borders have been concrete since 1780, and in the case of Texas, since 1840, when the Texican's (Mixed Spanish settlers and Europeans) defeated Santa Anna and sent him running for the hills.
Since the borders have been static for almost 200 years, your assertion is null and void, and quiet simply not well thought out.
We did not invade anyone. I know I didn't. I was born in 1978, more than 200 years after this great nation was founded. And the Americans who are opposed to illegal immigration are also looking to better their lives... by protecting their country from unwanted crime, disease, and economic problems. How does an illegal immigrant's right to better his/her life supercede my right to better my life in my homeland?
Why are you trying to find benefits from illegal immigration and focus on them rather than do something productive to help correct the problem?
Nothing but increase poverty in this country.
On average households of low-skill illegal immigrants receivenearly three dollars in taxpayer-funded services for every dollar it pays in taxes, according to a special report from The Heritage Foundation.Low-skill illegal immigrants paid an average $10,573 in taxes in fiscal 2004.But these low-skill immigrants received almost three times as much -- $30,160 per household -- in government benefits and services. That's a "fiscal deficit" of $19,587.
No matter the age of the head of household, benefits received far exceed taxes paid by low-skill illegal immigrants, defined as those without high school diplomas. The total gap in fiscal '04 alone: $89.1 billion.
"Assuming an average adult life span of 60 years for each head of household," Rector and Kim write, "the average lifetime costs to the taxpayer will be nearly $1.2 million for each low-skill household."
By the way, name one country in this world that was not invaded and settled by said invaders at some point .
So what you would like to hear is me saying something good about people breaking our laws?
Not going to happen! Crime is crime, and if one breaks the laws, one should have to face the consequences. They shouldn't be rewarded with a free pass.
They are not helping the economy in any way. Bottomline. And please get off of the "we" invaded "their" land bit. Nothing belongs to anyone until it is claimed by someone. Understand? If an invading culture has the ability to command and conquer another, then that is just the way it is. Find a new emotional card to play.
Thanks.
They are not vital to economic growth.
I understand people wanting a better life, but you can't plant yourself in another country illegally.
This land was bought and paid for.
Frankly my dear, you are way off. Our ANCESTORS, took this land from the Indians. We as a more educated society have learned that what they did was wrong. If we could go back knowing what we know now, I like to think we would look for a way to co-exist instead of performing mass genocide. As to the illegals of this day, I say they should do it the right way. take the steps to get your work visas, citizenship or what have you, and help support our economy. There are millions of illegals working without the right, and laws about hiring such people, while millions of Americans, and American citizens are trying to find jobs. I say, Let those who are in this country legally get the jobs and better their lives, thus supporting our economy. Then whatever is left, allow forginers to come in legally, get a job and better their lives. This would also help cut down on the chance of terrorists entering our country and killing many of our men, women, and children. So unless you want our economy to fail even more, or you want terrorists to kill our people, tell me who has the right.
