What's the difference between capitalism and imperialism if you are only going to be ruled by corporations?

AND WOULD YOU RATHER BE RULED BY A PERSON WHO HAS THE COUNTRY IN HEART OR BY 10 CORPORATIONS WHO ONLY HAVE THE DOLLAR IN HEART? SERIOUSLY HOW IS IT BETTER?

Answer:
You bring up a very valid point, especially in today's world where corporations have so much power in America. I'd much prefer to live under a person who has the country's best interests in mind instead of corporations trying to make a buck (like now) and being constantly protected by a government who is only interested in protecting their source of income from tax dollars generated by these huge corporations. We're headed straight toward facism, but we're told we're free and democratic because we can vote. In reality, voting is immaterial in today's world where any leader put into office will be subjected to such corruption and greed that it doesn't matter anymore.
America first! Think that way next time you vote!
Cpatalism isn't a form of governance. Its an economic system. And why is this in immigration?
capitalism is an economic system. imperialism is a government system. they are mutually exclusive.
With anti-trust laws, the idea is that these corporations will compete against each other in order to bring to you, the consumer, the best product available. If you're ruled by an imperialist who says he has the country at heart, you really don't know because he isn't governmed by economic practicalities. In other words, he isn't forced to do better because there is no one competing against him.
There is little difference between the in the instance in which you are applying them in your question. The definition vary but you are asking the difference when used as a governmental equivalent. Capitalism is the pursuit of profit and Imperialism is the exploitation of a country or people in the pursuit of profit.

The difference between socialism and communism is two fold. First socialism believes in maintaining control of certain business practices in the country to regulate the price and availability of the goods produced by that business. Usually this is to make certain that prices stay affordable and that the product is available. Communism believes but is incapable of total population control of all resources and business. In theory it is spectacular ideal. In practice it is inefficient and corrupted. The second difference is that socialism works in moderation and true communism cannot exist. Like most things communism cannot exist in the vacuum of a true economy. Someone has to have more control than the others otherwise anarchy rules. As such true communism gives way to radical socialism that slowly destroys itself through inefficiency and corruption.
b/c with capitalism a poor person can become an imperialist. Anyone can capitalize of any idea...with imperialism on the rich can capitalize.

I would rather be ruled by corporations b/c atleast they provide jobs in the country.
Neither.
Your referring to mercantilism which is an economic model, imperialism is a political model.
Does it really matter who rules you, your primary concern is shelter, food and survival. You will support any mechanism that provides those basic requirements.
Imperialism: your fate is decided for you
Capitalism: you decide your own fate
