How much longer can this Island operate and open door immigration policy for?

I think it already has.Try getting your children into a decent local school,try finding a national health dentist,try finding a council house,try getting on a good doctors list,try finding any answer from government about this crisis! The government want it as it keeps wages low so looks good on their financial reports,inflation etc!

Watch the USA. It is at a crumbling stage now. Look at the different stages of this wonderful Country's demise, then guage your Country's demise.
Hopefully not much longer, but is it only the public who are worried as our Government keeps welcoming everyone with open arms!!
The economy is doing well so we need to open it further. The breaking point will be at a world recession which hopefully is far away.

The country's ( notice i don't say OUR country) immigration policy is just another example of how the people have been let down by the Government. far from democracy being government of the people, by the people, for the people, it's all about how much they can get for themselves, while ignoring the general population of the country.
The policy will remain in place for as long as someone somewhere in politics is making some money off it.So don't be holding your breath.
And as long as we have the threat of terrorism the government has the power to do what they like with our freedom all in the name of anti-terrorism.

Immigration is simply a means for the elite to exploit a cheap and easily replenishable labour pool. It drives down native wages and pushes the economy downward.

I feel if people want to move to Britain then why shouldn't they? We would expect to be able to move to other countries if there were wars in Britain so why shouldn't everyone feel that way?
The "open door" policy should have been closed long ago. We are seeing many public services under severe strain because of the rising population, one such example is the health service. I believe that immigration needs to be radically tightened and those who are here illegally then they should be deported as a matter of course. It is about time that the indigenous population be given access to housing and other services as a matter of course.
while we continue with the policy of everyone is welcomed, they will keep coming, until the system collapses, then no doubt the government will blame us for not working hard enough, and put our tax's up yet again.

There is no open door policy, never has been and never will be.
Obviously it has to stop but we have our hands tied with being
in the EEC.Closing our borders is a political time bomb and the politicians see immigrants as contributors to the economy.You must ask your self who gains from Immigrants entering this country.Walk down a road that used to be quiet but now it has treble the amount of people living in that same road.Where do they live in houses and up to 20 of them sleeping in toilets,bathrooms etc.Work it out when the Landlord most likely Asian owns that house.
