Is The British Immigration LAWS inherently Racist?
But other African,Asians would have to pass the english language test before allowing them apply to stay here.
Many of the Eastern europeans whee already living in the Uk ilegally, but were given amnesty as soon as they joined the EU
The British govet is shying away from an opportunity to enact a legislation that would allow Illegal Immigrants live and work here.
Isnt this Racism
Answer:
you mean RACIST as in BIASED?
well it is racist against those who WORK and PAY sh1t load of TAXES!! i.e. ME!!!
No.
Read your rights under the european community laws - We are all free to live and work anywhere with in the EU borders without let or hinderance.
If Africa and Asia signed up to the EEC rules then they and we would also have this right.
Eastern Europeans have the right to work anywhere in the EU if their country is a member, so we have to take that on the chin if we want to stay in the EU (which is a whole separate debate). As for insisting that immigrants from outside the EU should be able to speak English... sorry, but that sounds like basic common sense to me.
It's because they are in the EU and so are legally allowed to live and work within its borders. The African and Asian countries are not and so do not fall under this rule.
On the other hand I think anyone that is expecting to live and work here should at least know enough of the language and customs to get by.as much for their own sake as for anyone elses.
The question should be "ARE the British Immigration laws inherently racist?" With poor English skills like that, it is no wonder that they don't want you in their country.
Yes it is.
when this country eventually sinks under the weight of the influx of the hoards of immigrants who come here adding nothing to OUR society. putting a strain on every amenity you can name. every one will go whooooops sorry. got that one wrong.
I just can't be bothered...especially since you can't be bothered to spel proper or use caPITaL leTters in any meaningful way.
And NO - it's not.
No.
This word "racist" is over used by the immigrant tsunami to help them con a way into the UK
Immigrants HAVE increased property prices see this question:
" Immigrants have increased UK property prices, have you seen the research into this?"
I don't think the immigration law stops immigrants coming into the UK from Africa and Asia at all - where I live it is full of illegals.
It is not a case of inherent racism - it is a case of economic decision making, and we have too little of that already. I don't like how the word 'racist' is bandied around in response to when immigrants don't like what they hear or can't get what they want. It doesn't help genuine cases at all.
who cares we should just leave the EU and kick them all out !
European lifestyle is generally of a good standard so the need to work in each others countries sort of works itself out. If we opened our door to Africa for example were going to have a stampede of a billion unskilled people knocking on the door. We'd literally become 3rd world over night.
No, it is not racism. Countries like the UK, most of the stabilized European countries and the USA, want immigrants that add to the productivity of their respective cultures, not immigrants that will not produce. It goes without saying, that if you cannot speak that particular country's language that you are far less able to be an asset, at least at first, so this is why illegal immigrants are most definitely not welcome and that a lot of legal immigrants don't get considered as well. If this person seeking entrance has a particular needed skill, they do get considered even though they don't speak the native language, but can do the needed job. Otherwise many countries won't let them come.
Most european nations require some familiarity with english, most african or asian don't. it's due to market and proximity. stupid. chances are they are already familiar with at least a little english, many are likely fluent.
No, it isn't racism. It's controlling our borders, same as every other country in the world does.
And they bloody well should shy away from opportunities to let illegal immigrants live and work here.
That's the whole point of the word 'illegal.' Anyone who arrives without going through the proper legislated channels should be removed back to the port that they travelled into Britain from. It's faintly disgusting that they aren't.
This country already has some of the most lenient laws in Europe. It doesn't need to get any more lenient.
Of course EU citizens were given the right to live in the UK even if they'd arrived illegally. Every EU citizen has the right to live in any other EU country.
Asia and Africa, my friend, are not part of the European Union, therefore you get the rules that the rest of the planet get.
