He needs to go through some serious hardships, to become humbled enough to change his ways. He needs to quit drinking--because it's clear he is an alcoholic. He needs to lose you for a while, so that he realizes what he will be missing with you gone. I would let him be deported, and then perhaps maybe he might see the error of his ways.
One more thing, you should absolutely not keep him around if he is beating on you. Do not permit anyone to abuse you or your child--you are worth more than that, and you can find a better life partner than that.

move to where ever he is being deported to...we don't need or want his kind...we have to many legals who can't behave...you shouldn't have gotten involved with a criminal in the first place...
well now this is time to take action.divorce him and find new partner.this time find non drunker and he should respects the ladies.
He is an undesirable criminal. If you are foolish enough to want to stay married to a person that physically abuses you, then go with him back to his home country.
