How can we all do to accelerate the acceptance of a comprehensive immigration reform and be done with that?
Answer:
I believe that the immigrants groups and individuals have a lot of good thinks that could be done in order to get that comprehensive immigration reform.
They have to realize the problem in a more wide point of view, they have to look this problem in the american people's point of view, so they can find the way to get to them.
They have to deal with it as in any business negotiation, they have to offer and then ask for.
For example, they can offer making bigger efforts to get the latin comunitty to learn english.
They can offer to pay taxes, as the american citizens does.
They can offer to take better care of their colonies and streets.
They can offer to follow the rules that american citizen follows.
And in exchange they can demand for the visas to work in the USA, and to bring their families to live with them if the work is far from the border.
Or demand some visas for temporary work, for the people who would rather to go to the USA, only for the working periods, and return home for the rest of the time.
Doesn't it sound like a win to win negotiation?
If only the liberals would all keel over and die, then maybe something constructive could be passed in our goverment.
accelerate shipping them all home...thats what will make 80% of americans happy...
Well secure our borders....send all the illegals home...start over...
There....is that so hard?
THEN we will be done with that :)
The problem is the way "comprehensive reform" is currently discussed is not acceptable. Their idea of reform is amnesty and that is wrong. It was wrong in 1986 and it is even more dangerous today. 20+ MILLION illegal alien criminals are too much. They are criminals because they are breaking the law.
Before reform can occur we have to enforce our current laws. This includes jailing the employers that hire the illegal alien criminals. Our borders MUST be secure. If this is done, maybe reform can come next.
This has NOTHING to do with race. This is about the LAW. WHAT PART OF ILLEGAL IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND?
First, we must deside if we need reform, or just enforcement.
close the borders kill all that cross over as terrorist and start a documentation of those who want to live here and are her now and allow folks to enter with proper paperwork to work .they need to work we have the work and we don't want criminals in our country this plan is fail save and very needed
You are never going to get the majority of Americans to ACCEPT outright lawlessness and simply be done with it.
I'm not convinced there's need for reform outside of hiring more people to enforce our laws and more people to follow-up and better process the people who are going about this legally.
There has been no compromise for anything. They whine when our laws are enforced, they whine when we deport criminals, they whine about being "targeted" for other crimes they are committing, they whine about not having everything handed to them, they whine about fees or taxes or having to learn English, and frankly......I see NO BENEFIT or exchange for having them here PERIOD!
We have our own citizens sitting in jail for less. We have our own citizens in need of things without them being an additional burden. They have added NOTHING to the quality of my life at all. Heck they don't even smile or say thank you. Why should I accept that? I won't accept it. I won't accept a dual set of rules and standards for people who aren't supposed to be here to begin with. I'm not going to "accept" increased crime, division and racism from these people.
Comprehensive reform= Amnesty.... Giving illegals the right to get social security get deductions for every child they have ( Lord help us), wellfare and tell them that as a payback for them ruining this country we will give them cirizenship....hmmm it sounds like Amnesty to me. Since when did the democrats become best friends with BUSH?! When you see that there is no checks and balances in the government, you know you are in trouble....
I would say a massive march to Washington...but that would just make more Americans think that Illegal immigrants are invading. Im not sure that there is anything we can do to speed up the process, the govt likes to take their sweet time with everything!
Support control on all things. And enforcement of laws. Its not to late. Failing in the past doesn't mean you can't start anew. Demand accountability. The only thing necessary for the triumph of wrong paths is for good men to do nothing.
As far as what has been broken-that is a different question. Which needs to be addressed in a different manner.
