If I'm illegally in the country for seven years and contriduted,do I have rights?

overstayed in the UK for 7 years. Paid all taxes.

Answer:
As a human being you have right in the court of GOD.
In the eyes of law, what ever your contribution to UK, still you are illegal. It doesn't matter how long you been, how hard you been working and how much money you been paid as tax, it is not going to help you. You have to leave the country or stay there until you get amnesty.
I feel sorry for you.
no you will get shipped straight back
yeah but if ur illegaly in the country i doubt you will have rights.
None whatsoever. Immigration status apart, technically you are stealing whether you pay taxes or not.
yes you probably have got more rights than i have and i was
born here.
Sorry but i hope not, why should you, you broke the law regardless of the fact you paid taxes, and how did you pay taxes if your illegal? Thats like saying if i robbed a bank and gave half to charity, would that make it ok.
ALL HUMANS ALWAYS HAVE RIGHTS!!!!1
REMRNBER THAT!!
LOOK UP HUMAN RIGHTS!1

FREEDOM!!1
No you will not get any rights whether you paid taxes or not, the main point is that you are in the country illegally. One question that comes to mind is how come you are paying taxes if you are here illegally, you are not allowed to work. Have you stolen someone's identity?
depends if you can prove it
paying your taxes does not give you the same rights as a citizen of the UK,you have had 7 years to sort this out and you should have either got the correct paperwork by now or left the country,Your employer will pay all your taxes through PAYE as long as you are employed by them but you have to realise you are an illegal imigrant who has now overstayed your visa allownce and that you have put yourself on the wrong side of the law.
You have broken UK immigration legislation and you must do one of two things, leave now and try to get permission to re-enter this country ,although immigration may want to know what`s been going on .Or you stay illegally and risk being picked up eventually and being deported.
Personally I think you have a cheek thinking you can take the job of a legally residing person in this country,Get out...
Yes.
"You do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you fail to mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say will be given in evidence."
You have the right to legal advice and to have someone informed you have been arrested and to read the police codes of practice.

That's about the limit of it I'm afraid.
i think your telling porkies mate, if your illegal then you would of been flagged up by now by the inland revenue and the tax man.
Depends what you mean by "rights" - are you meaning legal or social?

Everyone in the country has legal rights irrespective of whether they are here legally or not. However, you have no rights with regards to benefit payments. The fact you've paid contributions is irrelevant. You may, however, still qualify for certain things depending on your country of origin - if you're from an EU country then there are reciprocal agreements in place with regards to healthcare etc.

The fact you've overstayed by 7 years? Don't you think it's maybe time to decide what you're doing and sort it out? Citizens advice will be able to direct you to specialist solicitors who deal with this kind of thing.
Come back and tell us what "Contriduted" is!

Yes of course you have rights! You have your human rights for example not to be imprisioned without trial, the right to emergency medical treatment and so on.

What you do not have though is any right to stay here just because you ahve got away with it for 7 years...
You Shouldn't
If it was up to me, I would say you have contributed more to the society, and have more rights to be here after all those years you've been in the country, than the immigrants from the new EU countries. But from the legal point of view, there are very few laws to support you.
But not everything and everybody sticks to the letter of the law. Sometimes common sense, logic, and human compassion prevail, and that's when the governments declare amnesty. Italy has done that, Spain has done that, USA as well as many other countries. In the UK, the movement received a huge support from many institutions, including church. I hope your contributions to the society will be recognized by the local community.
I'll bet what you contributed could never equal the benefits you illegally received.
rights for what?
Does a bank robber get to keep the money if he pays taxes on it?

A criminal is a criminal. You are admitting to being a criminal.
Apart from basic human rights, none at all. You are here illegally.
Get the fu ck out the lying cheating filth. Altho this country favours you people over it's own now a days.
If you are illegal you could not have paid taxes.
You would not get any right to remain in the UK by being here for seven years, even though you have paid taxes - quite a common situation, by the way, there's surprisingly little communication between the inland revenue and Immigration, once you've been issued with an NI number.

There is some discussion about an amnesty for long-term overstayers and failed asylum-seekers, but I wouldn't hold your breath. Maybe next year?? Here's hoping.

At present, if someone can show 14 years continuous residence, eg employment and address history, without criminal record, they can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain. No guarantees this will still be the case in another seven years' time!

Good luck!
Yes to get on the next plane home. How does your homeland treat illegal immigration and should we tolerate it. I think not.
Paid all taxes? If you are illegal you would not be paying taxes. Do you have rights? You have the right to stop breaking the law and the right to be deported out of our country. Do you really think you should be rewarding for BREAKING THE LAW FOR 7 Years?
