I don't know but I'm pretty sure that we have plenty of criminals already here that are worst than the are. Like murderers, rapist, pedophiles, raciest people. Yes born and raised here.
They should deport the illegals in prisons that did these horricle crimes and keep the illegals with clean records here to stay! While some come for criminal purposes, others come to work hard and live.

From the number given last night on Larry King Live by both Jim Gilchrist, as well Rep. Duncan Hunter (R - California) the number is around 250,000 illegal immigrants are in federal prision right now. Out of 12 million+. That is about 2%. Less depending on the number of illegal immigrants are actually here. Obviously the higher the number of illegal immigrants here, the lower the percentage number.
So that leaves 98% approx. that are here to work. Not here to push drugs, rape and murder Americans. What is the percentage of citizens here that rape, and murder - not just Americans, but anyone, and push drugs? There are people in EVERY race, color, etc. that do drugs, push drugs, rape people, murder people. And by making a blanket statement about the illegals that are here based on 2% of the illegals that are here. That doesn't really work. Blanket statements are for speaking about majorities.
Guess what near where I live there are a bunch of hospitals that are being shut down - that are bankrupt. And guess why? It isn't from the illegal immigrants that are not paying their hospital bills, because in these areas where these hospitals are being shut down, it is a majority of one race, and it isn't hispanic - they make up about 4% of the population there - it is because it is from a poor part of the state. It is from a low class, group that do not have health insurance. And I would bet all the money I had to back up the statement that they are citizens of this country (the other 96% or so).
As for housing, what are you talking about? I don't undertand that statement. How are the illegals sucking up money from housing?
As for me defending the scum of the earth, that would be your opinion. I do not in general think that all illegals are the scum of the earth. I don't think that when a majority of people who come here to work to provide a better life for their children, their families, to make sure that they have food on the table, I do not think that they are the scum of the earth. Here in the US, we have plenty of fathers (and mothers) that are citizens, born here, etc. etc. who father children, have families, and could care less about what happens to them. It is up to the single parent to get out their and bust their hump to make sure there is food on the table, and a roof over their heads. At least these "scum of the earth" that yous peak of actually do something about their families, and they care about their familes.
