What documents do I need to take to if when I marry in Ghana, Africa?

Im a canadian citizen living in korea now. My fiancee is from Ghana and we will travel there to get married in a few weeks. What are all the documents we need? I will have an E2 visa, so will he be covered under my visa?

Answer:
Hi Sparkly,

I have an American friend who just recently married a Ghanaian here in Ghana, less than a month ago. If you go over to tripadvisor forums, and click the email icon next to her name which is Shellylori, email her and ask her directly what she needed.

Now, one thing may be different, her Ghanaian husband works in Libya, and after the wedding, he went back to Libya, she went to the US, so she didn't try to bring him back with her. If what you really want to know is can your new husband go back to Canada with you, that's a different question, and for that you'll need to contact the Canadian High Commission in Ghana.

Good luck,

Barb
