How come Americans don't get deported when they commit crimes??
I don't think its fair. Do you?
Answer:
Deport them where? They're natural born citizens.
Are you implying that we should kick criminals out of our country, so they may commit crimes in other countries, instead of being dealt with by our criminal system? Good luck passing that one by the international community!
You can't deport natural born citizens.
Where would they be deported to? They're Americans.
We do not deport our own legal citizens.
US citizens do get deported if they commit a crime in a foreign country, back to the US.
IT'S VERY FAIR. YOU ARE NOT A CITIZEN OF HIS COUNTRY THUS YOU GET SENT BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM. AMERICANS GET DEPORTED TO THEIR HOUSE.
Where would we be deported to?
And then again.....who would want us?
People are deported to thier home countries. You would have to deport an American to America. Sooo.....
Maybe you are right but, where would we send them to? Mexico? Canada? Besides, we would still have to support them the way we do now.
Because they are immigrants... Where would you want to send an American... To your home country as punishment? We aren't THAT cruel to our own....
deported to where? back to great brittain?
Um...where would they deport them too???
This is a silly question.
And where would you deport Americans TO???? Duhh....When a non-citizen commits a crime they're sent back (deported) to their native country; Americans are committing crimes in their native country. No place to send them but to JAIL.
Get deported to where? Back to America. If you are here Illegaly or are not a US Citizen and you commit a crime then you go back to where you came from. If you are a US Citizen you go to jail. What's not fair.
What has fairness got to do with this? Not fair to who...the illegal or the American? You are kidding, right?
Illegals get deported because they are not from here. Americans who commit a crime are our problem.
and you wonder why people dont want ya in the USA... an 8 year old kid in school could understand how it 'is' fair but it doesnt seem you can.
People who are visiting and do not treat the country well do not deserve to stay here.
You would not ask a guest to leave your home if they started to commit crimes in it?
As for Americans, this is our country and we live here. We have our own way of dealing with residents.
You're totally wrong. Americans are often deported when they cause trouble in some other country.
you are not the sharpest pencil in the box huh? its completely fair.
If you are a legal citizen (regardless of nationality), you don't get deported, you go to prison. Personally, if I was to commit a terrible crime, I would rather be deported somewhere than go to prison.
Just say NO to drugs!
Where would you deport an AMERICAN CITIZEN to?
Questions like this make me worry about the future of this country. Oh, and before anyone starts, I *am* part American Indian, so bite me.
And if you think we're so "unfair" (the gall of some people...) you are WELCOME to pack up and leave anytime.
The fine for being in this country illegally is, deportation.
Maybe it's because they are US citizens. And where would they be sent to? No other country wants them. What I would like to see though is old mothballed Navy ships that are just floating around empty turned into prisons. With our overcrowded prisons, they would make great substitutes. Take them about 10 miles out to sea.
Hey i don't think that is fair either but like they say it is their country and they have the stupid right to deport whoever they want. Sorry
Everyone who lives in North and South America are all AMERICANS. The Americans here of the United States cant be deported anywhere, they are born here. Any way, many americans, dont have a country to go back to, as in roots any way. They are assimilated, so if you wanted to deport them back you couldnt because they dont have a root country to tie to, unless they were full of......whatever their families come from. AND by the way its funny because there are a lot of Americans born here whos parents come for Mexico, and latin countries and people tell them to go back to mexico thinking that we all come from there and that we were born there....funny because they are USA citizens.
American citizens go to jail. Non-citizens get deported. That's just the way it is.
And out of curiosity...who said life was fair???
yes i do. hell where would we send an american? why would we want to deport our problems to another place? americans dont get deported.. they get put in jail.
immigrants are deported because they came here illigally. hell you dont even have to commit a crime. if the government finds you, even if you didnt do anything, they WILL deport you.
you can't deport americans. where do we send them, up your bung hole?
Fair or not, you cannot deport an American citizen. I know there was a big issue concerning an American who lives in Canada, and he would commute to work every day, because he worked in the US and lived with his wife and kids in Canada (Niagara Falls area). He worked in the schoold system and was arrested for having sex with a minor (consensual), but either way a minor. Well, some dumb @ss judge issued his punishment, to be exiled from the US and live in Canada with his wife and kids, and cannot return to the US for three years, except to see his probation/parole officer. Is that justice, hell no, but I just though I would share this story with everyone. By the way Canada was pissed and held this person for deprtation back to the US, so I still don't know what else is happening with this case.
of course it is FAIR!!!
first of all illegal aliens shouldnt be here in the first place. however, if they manage to get in, then they should at least be productive members of society. once they commit a crime they NEED to be booted out. we dont owe them anything because they are not citizens of our country.
if this little scenario of yours was reversed and you were the illegal alien in their country do you think they would let you continue living there even after you commited a crime?...NO they would not...
geez ...
