How do i obtain a new birth certifcate?

need to get one for person born in n.j.

Answer:
Contact dept. of vital statistics. in your state capital..
Where I live we have to contact the courthouse for our county.
you need to contact the bureau of vital statistics in n.j
Type in any search engine the county name of where that person was born not the state then tyep in births certificates. I am sure the state can help you too if you call them.
Dunno if u can get one at all. But if i were u, i'd get hold of a nurse or a doc 2 act as witnesses, mite smooth down the process considerably, bye
Contact the State of New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. You can order by mail, fax, phone, or online through a link on their page.

You have to call the hospital and they are gonig to ask for a bunch of ID stuff then eventually you'll get it i would recomendgetting 2 copies
You can only ask for a copy of your own birth certifcate unless you are that person's legal guardian.
