Does an L1B can be converted in a L1A and get addtional 2 years (renewal period) after the 5 years of L1B expi

I have a question. If a special knlodge employee (L1B) is tranferred to the US and after 4 years (using her 3 Yrs peiod and renew it for additional 2) gets promoted to Manager can her company apply for the L1A so she can get additional 2 period renewal - to the maximun of 7 in total? Please let me know.
