Those same Mexicans took a lot of that land from the Native Americans. Of course the odds are the the US side however realize it would not be pretty we have practically an open border with Mexico, it would be ugly.

I have never complained about that US took the land of Mexico.I am of Mexican decent...I don't believe that and neither does any self respecting Mexican...My parents came here legally, worked hard and did well.THEY have never once even mentioned that any part of US belongs to Mexico..
actually, its sad to even think about another war, but your right the immigration problem is for beyond control.
Personally, I think countries are finding our weakspots and digging their scum into our wounds.
Had we not spent so much money on the current war, and had our gas prices not sky rocketed,
I would say we would kick some illegal amigo butt.
However, with the current finacial strain our country is undergoing, I don't think we would have the $$$ to fight.

I think we should change the names of states, towns and counties in the southwest U.S.. How do you think U.S. citizens would feel if provinces and towns in northern Mexico had names like Jamestown, Washington or Virginia?

Complaining about how we took "THEIR" land.? What a crock that is...! Just like in the US of A, Native Americans had their ancestral lands stolen by Spaniards and Mexicans.
How about this... we fight for independance for a latin american country. Then we inject billions of dollars. Whoops... we already did that many times over.
Mexico and america? Funny thought and if it was 100 years ago we would just take it over, colonize it, enforce rule of law and boost the economy. Kind of like a Teddy Roosevelt or British Empire thing. But always throught history once one leaves a country in good shape it goes to heck after that.
So if america occupied El Salvador or Nicuragua. The people stand up at the same time. Huge resources and tons of money from the world. Illegals in this country would still stay as it is apparently a cultural thing,
