so long as the Church provides, then let them do so. if the illegals try to use taxpayer provided benefits, then we should arrest them
Nope. They raise money, plenty of it. Plus if they are providing "sanctuary" then the illegal immigrants are not leaving the church, so they would not be recieving anything other than what the church provides them.
If this is the case, then don't be a member for those particular churches..The catholic church will always look at memberships, and if they go down because of this issue, they will reevaluate there stand on this issue.Hate to sound cynical, but it is about the money.
taxes dont pay for churches, churches run on donations.

They get tax breaks, so do married people and people with children and they arent always honest either.
