I am French and and finding ways to have Canadian nationality?

Currently living in BC. Someone told me about Provincial nomination program (PNP).
Once I apply for it, can I go to France after that? If not, at what stage of process I can go back to my country? Or physical presence is necessary once you apply for a certain Immigration program for certain amount of time. I have my friends living here.. they can handle it in my absense.

This is what I found after a search. I think your best option is to contact someone at the Ministry and ask them. There is a contacts link on that website.
Why go to Canada when you're already in France?
Isn't France more beautiful than Canada?
