I do and I'm a nurse. It's not just mexicans either it's pretty much anybody from a third world country. They just aren't educated in sanitary practices. My first advice to you is to try to cook your food yourself as much as possible. That is where you encounter disease (such a hepatitis,tuberculosis) the most...in the restaurants.
That's a good thing. Exposure to infectious agents boosts the immune system.
If you lived cozy and isolated from all nasty germs for too long, once a new one appears, it will kill you all because you're not prepared for it.
It's what happened with the flu in 1918. It killed people who had not been exposed to other infectious agents.
of course people care, but they are illegals, so their entry is not checked. if they were to come in legally, there would be a healthcheck to make sure they are disease-free.
we care, what can we do when our very own govt will let us do nothing about the illegals. i know what i would like to do.
