Do you think this is fair for the U.S citizen?
just saw this on Fox News in Baltimore:
Tonight in Annapolis, demonstrators are expected to show their support for a bill that would allow illegal immigrants to pay in-state tuition at Maryland colleges. But, there's another bill under consideration that would prohibit illegal immigrants from getting a drivers license in the state
Will there be more traffic accidents if we give the illegal license? Do you think it's fair to give these benefits to the illegals
Answer:
Terrorists use drivers' licenses to get the keys to the country. That is why the REAL ID act was passed. Another eastern state tried to give licenses to illegals and a suit brought by 9/11 families stopped them.
As to instate tuition, if the illegals have been here long enough to get it they already have received huge education subsidies at the expense of our own children's education. Taking college funds that could be spent on American children who want to go to college and further encouraging illegal immigration by giving it to illegals, is even worse.
I dont live in Maryland but I would be furious about it if I did.
U can't be serious, believe me if there are any illegal citizens who need to drive they r certainly driving on a daily basis. That means with or without a license because they r willing to take that risk in order to put food on the table. so the only thing a license would do is create less hit & runs, & maybe more insured drivers. Its more of a give & take relationship that Americans have with illegals, they take some benfits while Americans enjoy low prices & clean facilities at a descent price. Live with it because u have been for the last say 20 yrs, only now u actually see the numbers publicly.
