My husband is a permanent residents of USA for about a year and he filed a petition for alien relatives I130?

petion for spouse of permanent residents how long does the petition takes? how many years it will be process?

Answer:
It takes 5 to 7 years, depending on where you live, for the visa to be issued.
as far as i know, through my sis-in-laws experience, if all the requirements are properly submitted, less than a year.this is based on hassle-free processing.i mean no problem in requirements, interviews and medical so with clearances.
A guess would be between a year and a year and a half, if all papers are in order.
Dont listen to those two.

The fact is papers will be processed in a yeard, but then you will wait for visa number to become available for another 5 years. So Have fun!
I think it takes up to 5 years that s what they say cause you need a visa number but don't worry everything will be fine I am sure many people had it in a year & a half so just don't stress, wish you all the best & good luck
