you might have to find someone to sponsor you. I'm not sure if hospitals will or do but there are plenty of immigrants working in hospitals. Try that.
I applaud you in not getting married to stay in the country. Too many people do it and aren't up front about really just using someone to stay in the country.

if you're mexican or canadian, you can easily get a TN visa for nursing with simply a job offer. if you're any other citz, however, you'll need an employer to sponser you for an H- type visa. You could also get a J-visa for research or exchange visitor status through your university. You cannot, however, adjust status from an F1 to an LPR without other circumstances (ie. you married a USC)
Why cant people wait in line like everyone else. My gosh every one want a quick green card. My dad file for my sister which is now over 10 years and still waiting. Come on wait.
