Some are, they are setting up businesses and providing jobs for others, when they return and settle back in Mexico. Their outlook on life is different because their standard of life is higher as well. They have learned that a better lifestyle is their right.
Abortion has nothing to do with values in this case, it is a public health problem and it needed to be addressed in order to halt the number of deaths due to clandestine abortion procedures. A lot of ruckus has been created by this law because it happened in the Capital City, but other states had already passed laws allowing abortion if the parents were unable to support the child, and no one was screaming about it. This law was passed almost twenty years ago. The Catholic Church is also losing its grip on the people, by protesting and threatening excommunion of those involved, unless they are legislators or politicians, but doctors and nurses and planned parenthood advisors are targeted. That does not make sense to the people, and sexual education is now strongly stressed in schools, which may help cut down the problem in a few decades.
Its funny you say that because they very recently legalized abortions, just a few weeks ago while I was visiting D.F..I am not sure it was a direct result of illegals/immigrants bring back American values, but more of a progressive movement going through Mexico.

It's possible, but it seems that Mexico's main family value is 'send your family to America'.
As Americans we have different values. Not all Americans are for abortion, gay equal rights, legalizing drugs, religious freedom, good education or Taco Bell tortillas. I guess Mexico has decided that it is a woman who should decide and not a government. Mexico is coming up int the world.
