How can I be petitioned by my mother in UK?
Answer:
I sincerely hope that this sort of thing is not allowed, yet, on the other hand it wouldn't surprise me
She has to show that she can support you and your entire family, by having a job. And also that you are not going to be claiming benefits whilst you are here.
Both are doubtful I'm guessing.
As you have family living here your chances of getting citizenship is increased, however you will still need to have a jab and be contributing to society or else we don't want you.
I think that the only relations of your mother who are entitled to come to live in the UK because of her citizenship would be dependants.
It is unlikely, if you are not already in the UK, that you will be able to live in the UK in the strength of the fact that your mother is a British citizen now.
Unless you needed her to take "care" of you, ie you were a minor. And you are not.
You do not say what country you are in and that does make this more like guesswork but I suspect that it is not a EU country?
The way it works with most countries is that when you apply for leave to stay in a country you must prove your "worth" TO that country. So- if you wish to live in the UK you must be able to contribute something of value to the nation and not only rely on your mother's new citizen status. Which would, if you were a minor, only go for you and NOT your husband (as he is not her "family" or dependent per se). This is assuming you were a married minor, of course. ;-)
Please stay where you are.
