Why is it that Americans are afraid to confront EMPLOYERS hiring illegals?

Why, why, why, I posted this question before and nobody knows.

Answer:
Maybe they are following the "great" Ronald Reagan, when he not only didn't confront the employers, but grant amnesty in 1987.
Because by hiring illegals they are breaking the law, and we should never comfort someone doing our economy so much damage.
Your avatar tends to make us wonder if you are legal yourself
Thats a good question. Take away the magnet that attracts illegals and they'll stop coming.
Who's afraid? I am an employer and I'd never hire an illegal. If caught you can lost your business and it's totally immoral. All too many of them can't even speak English and in my business if you can't, you are of no use.

I have shammed others for hiring the illegals.
Its not that they are afraid, they are just "mysteriously" overlooked. It baffles my mind too.

Why don't we call employers "illegals"??

Illegal Employers

They are actually supposed to be held at a higher standard, they are more culpable according to the law, than the illegal worker.Hmmmm food for thought...
where does one go to complain? empolyers wont sa anything because they pay less for there labor, if the pay the same they dont pay for medical.
Illegals help to keep the cost of necessities low, unless everyone wants to pay more for everyday expenses for food and services, they will not protest. US is a money-driven economy
I dont know if their afraid but I think since its easier to point the finger at the latino they would rather talk s h it then see whats the core of the problem.
I don't think they always know, we are asked to provide documents, but nobody really checks them. I would feel sorry for a lot of employers if they had to depend on US citizens to fill their workforce... especially the fast food, restaurant and hotel industries.
Because we, the majority, the tax payers, are a *silent* majority!!!
Hi, my name is Serena. Give me a thumbs up for responding too plz.

Its not Americans, and you know it. Its big business, big business runs this country, and big business has Washington in their back pockets.
Because when you start sticking your fingers in somebody else's rice bowl, they tend to become violently upset. The average American, unlike our current leader, is not very confrontational. But when he's backed into a corner he can be nasty. The British found that out....
It's in the new bill. But it is also in the new bill that the employee verification system only goes into effect a certain period of time AFTER $400,000,000 is funded to create it. The bill itself carries no funding for it. Surprise, surprise.

That is part of what I meant when I echoed a Senator's opinion that the enforcement provisions are so full of caveats and exceptions that it has to be deliberate.

I agree that that is a necessary part of any enforcement program for it to succeed.
