In Waukegan, Illinois, city council voted for police to deport illegal aliens that commit crimes.?

In Waukegan, not far from my home, they have voted for the local police to act as immigrtation officers for serious crimes commited by illegals. They first have to send an application to Homeland Security to get the OK to send two officers to train to be Immigration officers. Then it could happen within the year. Should all towns and cities in the US follow Waukegan to have the local police deport illegals that commit serious crimes or should it be left to federal agencies?

Answer:
Tell the city council that the word is "illegal." All illegals should be detained, assessed and sent back. They should come in the country the right way.
Well, since the federal Govt refuses to do the job we hired them to do, then it is left up to the states and municipalities to do the job that the feds wont do...it is already happening all over the US now in fact...so sit back and relax and please pass the popcorn...
I feel that since the federal government isn't doing the job our local government can and should. Waukegan will face quite a backlash via lawsuits filed by pro illegal groups but it is about time that citizens across this country stand up and protect their communities.
Report and deport them all,,,and it does not matter what level of law enforcement,,I bet if there was a reward system, like getting new patrol cars, or equipment, for illegals, the agencies, would be dragging in every illegal possible,,,
Well, Waukegan has a lot of illegal immigrants to draw from. It couldn't have been tested in a better city.

I think what will happen is other cities are going to see how it goes, and if it is successful, they will follow in their footsteps. Personally, I hope this works, and soon all cities are doing it!
This is a very good police force close to my home. The policemen throughout America want to do this but many have their hands tied by pro criminal illegal alien politicians.

Great Job Waukegan!

Praise be Jesus!
I remember last year when Carpentersville,IL was trying to pass an ordinance to penalize employers that hired illegal immigrants and landlords that rented to them. Now Waukegan is taking a stand against these criminals. I'm proud to live in Illinois and I hope my community takes similar action soon.
