Hi Can somebody tell me what is leave to remain visa? how long is valid and what conditions need to be meet?
Answer:
First, ignore the joker commenting on your English, and don't apologise!
Leave to remain is granted either as Indefinite Leave to Remain, which means you are a permanent resident, or Limited Leave to Remain, allowing you to live in the UK for a fixed period. With ILR, there are no restrictions on your right to work, etc, but other types of visa are granted in specific circumstances and have restrictions appropriately. If you want to understand something about visas generally, you could brouse through this site:

Student visas usually allow you to live in the UK for the purposes of studying at a recognised institution, until shortly after the end of the course. Usually you would be allowed to work up to twenty hours a week during term-time. If you are already in the UK and are unsure about your visa, try checking with your student welfare department.
Good luck.
you need to be able to speak enough english to make sense?
