My mother is disabled and i have been helping her out with the kids rent and bills. I got married in April 06 to an illigal person which we started the immigration process in Aug. We are expecting our first baby in March with a extream heart defect. We have been dating for 4 years and looking forward to our 1st year ann. a total of 5. This year because of my preg. I only made about 9 thous. We were really looking forward to this money for our hospital stays we live about an hour away from were our baby will be for at least a month. I need to claim my brother and sister on my taxes but since I started the immigration process i was woundering if filling them could affect our case?

why do u have to claim them? And you know you have to make a certain amount of money to sponsor him in the US. It is called the affdavid of support. He can only partical support himself. I am sorry to hear about your baby but you will have to find a job asap because when you go to file papers you have to show proof of income. They will ask who why did u claim them and if they live with u. and also how many people live in this house/. good luck
