Is the U.S resolving the problem on immigration or making the matter worst?

Answer:
worse by letting more in that we taxpayers pay ,we as Americans cannot get health care but the immigrants can why is this we should take care of our own 1st
Making it worse by ignoring it and pretending to do something.
The U.S. is not doing anything that is really affecting imigration. There are already imigration laws in place and not enough officers to enforce them. By not enforcing the laws it give the impression the Us does not really care. Immigrants don't take the laws serious. The US Borders should be guarded with the full force of the military. With terrist activity our borders should be strictly guarded.
The solutions we are being offered pit us against eachother instead of against big business's desire for a slave wage work force which would be subsidized through social programs and would perpetually swamp our schools. Note that this is bad for everyone except those rich enough to send their kids to private schools.

I think there ARE ways we can work together, but no one seems interested in them, at the moment.

I think there is polarization going on, as a result.

If government WANTED to stop it, they could. Clearly, they really don't want to.
It's too late to resolve the problem. The only long-term solution is economics. US corporations realize using Mexican labor is the only way to compete against cheap labor in Asia. I'd rather buy products HECHO EN MEXICO using USA materials, keeping Mexicans working in Mexico & not in America, products being trucked cross border by USA truckers, profited by USA corporations instead of profits leaving America and jobs taken by Mexicans here in America.
The U.S isn't doing anything. All they do is talk about doing something, and then look the other way.
