Why is this country to lax on stoping illigal imigration?
Answer:
Because they don't really want to stop it. If they did, they would have done it by now.
Everyone want's a vote. Illegal immigration is supported by major corporations for cheap labor. If a nominee, or in office person is against it, that will hurt his vote. Everyone wants to be politically correct and sensitive. That's why we need bill oreilly in some sort of position of power. Not necesarrily in office, but where he has some control over something. No matter how much people don't like him, he will get the job done.
Who knows for sure? Perhaps its all the giant corporations using illegals for work and they hold the sway over the politicos. Maybe no one cares and they want to see our great country destroyed, by the influx of illegals who could be terrorists.
I believe the country is too lax on it because the funding and resources to stop it really isnt there and the people are reluctant to have another tax increase so in a way we get what we pay for.
(for the record I believe people should be allowed to go where they want when they want with only certain exceptions such as tresspassing)
Bush wants open borders, as does big business. Also Washington, loves big business, and votes.
Big Biz greed and best Govt money can buy
too liberal
We don't need a tax increase, what we need is for the Illegals to stop using our wellfare programs, our English as a second language school programs, health benefits at the hospitals etc.... Do you have any idea how much money we could save if we this government actually follows the laws that it's self made? But of course we live in a country where we bring the drugc dealer from Mexico to prosecute Border agents who are protecting this country. What more do you expect out of our " great government"
Of course there are a variety of reasons. There are the popular reasons, such as how many employers prefer the cheaper labor (Many people saying, "Hey, they do the work that nobody else is willing to do!" My response to that is, go to states like Idaho and Utah and Wyoming. It is very common to see a hard working teenage American citizen out doing landscape work to earn money for college)
However, as far as the federal government is concerned, there is a reason that deals with foreign policy. Now, if you don't believe what I am about to type, please at least do your duty as a freedom-loving American citizen and do some research- you can find confirmation on government agencies' own websites, not some "right wing wacko" website! There is a plan to make a change in North America similar to the establishment of the Eurpean Union over a decade ago. Among many other, more astonishing changes, you can go to the Congressional website and learn about a House Resolution to fund the creation of a superhighway from Mexico, up through the U.S., and up to Canada. The northern and southern borders of the U.S. will essentially be softened, and the nations of Canada, The United States, and Mexico will be brought under a common economic and administrative umbrella, similar to the EU (european union).
As far as our lawmakers are concerned, that is why our country is too soft on illegal immigration. If you don't believe me, do the research, and do it on websites maintained by the agencies of our own government. As well, check it out on a website www.CFR.org. The CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) is an organization of which people such as George Bush, Dick Cheney, Conoleeza Rice, Colin Powell, and many other government officials are members. Search for NAU (north american union).
Because we have sold this country to A) big business and B)
Mexico.
