Go look around. Find a welfare slug and see what they are doing to make their life better. Probably 4 out of 5 are just sitting on their lazy butts producing more children.

Clueless is thinking that we can afford to continue taking every person that can find a way to cross into this country. Can you prove to me that no illegal immigrants are receiving welfare or other benefits? Why shouldn't our systems provide that information accurately instead of allowing both sides to use this against one another?
Why don't some see the stupidity and unfairness to not only the legal immigrants that play by the rules, but the unfairness to the existing citizens that also follow the laws and rules of our country?
I work at a small Housing Authority that has the Section 8 vouchers illegals can get. Believe me they are here . having a anchor baby means they can have housing and HUD even has a special rent formula for them called Mixed Family rent. And we have uncovered some using a false SSN, when they figure out we know something they skip out. It's easier to count the number of people walking through the door that speak English (not many) than the ones speaking Spanish. We have free ESL class on the property and they will not attend. And it is a problem ... your tax dollars at work supporting illegals.

Look up Prop 200. Part of the proposition is that the state had to verify a persons citizenship status because so many illegals were collecting welfare.

And much of that money ends up siphoned out of our economy and into offshore accounts. Illegal aliens, over half of whom work "under the table" with neither job nor income reported (nor taxed), are not counted as employed or unemployed. But some of those day-labor and off-the-books "job-lets" would be "real" jobs - available to American citizen job-seekers - if employment regulations were enforced. Illegal aliens can get away with tax evasion, et al., which citizens cannot. In short, we have too many workforce entrants and too few jobs created. If all illegal aliens depart or are deported, all legal immigration halted, and all temporary employment visas abolished, we still have a problem with more US-born workforce entrants than new jobs created. Illegal immigration damages our country and our citizens every day at every level.
