Immigration records prove America the greatest, why not admit it?

Don't know what records you mean but America's records are for LEGAL immigrants.
If you ask a lot of folks around the world, many would not agree that the USA is anything but skewed up. Frankly, at this point I would have to agree with them.
Do you really think we are the greatest? I'm wondering these days.
we know we are the greatest. that does not mean we want illegals here. legal immigrants are welcome. big difference between illegal and legal.
Looking at the legal immigration and the illegal estimates, we are the number one country for people trying to leave their country and enter another. So, if we are so skewed up and horrible, why do people still want to come here so desperately?
Because, even if we don't meet their definition of great, we still offer more opportunities for them to achieve greatness here, and all the while, we will defend their right to say just that (well, at least once they become a citizen we will)
I figure there must be something truly wrong outside of this country. We even have illegal immigrants coming here. Especially from countries that we have sent jobs too. And still they come. My question is, why? The odds or percentages show that there are far fewer of them that wish us harm. I also see trade offs when it comes to most "illegals". One of the trade offs show up in the produce aisle at the grocery store. Imagine if they came here legally and farmers had to pay minimum wage. For the farmer, the price they get for their product will be reflected in the grocery store.
If their kids use the education system, good for them. If those kids decide to go back, they take back knowledge. I imagine they will also carry back our influences on society and culture.
If we lock the doors and windows, even we will not catch a breeze, on a hot day.
AMERICA IS THE GREATEST BECAUSE OF THE IMMIGRANTS, LEGAL OR ILLEGAL. YOU ARE RIGHT.
Illegal aliens and foreigner aliens make up nearly 30% of our prison population. The same cannot be said for people that moved here in the past.
