Can i extend my visa in usa or canada?

if i come to usa or canada for one month tourist visa to work from india, can i extend it.if so how many month or yr can extend?

Yes! Canadian and US Law states you can extend your tourist visa.

In the US you can extend your tourist visa up to six (6) months others three (3) months depending on what will the USCIS will give you. You also need a affidavit of support for yourself issued by a bank in India stating you have money to spend in the US. you can also file it on your own risk. it cost $280 dollars.

You can apply to change your current status to stay in Canada longer. To change or extend your status as a temporary resident/visitor, you will need $1,000 (CAD) for every additional month.
