Most illegal aliens pay little or no taxes ... they don't have social security numbers which is the tax ID number used to record tax contributions. The employers just pay them cash under the table and off the books which is illegal ... but since the illegal aliens are already illegally living here they have nothing to lose. Take that one step further and add that they also aren't paying for medical care since they can't obtain health insurance as illegals, so they just go to the emergency room (which can't legally turn them away) and burden the health care system and drive up costs for all of us citizens that are paying to support them because they are using are services and not contributing to the costs.
We NEED to institute the Fair Tax in this country, because under the Fair Tax, even people making money off of illegal means ... INCLUDING illegal aliens, drug dealers, criminals, etc. will be paying taxes when today they aren't. Because of this and several other good reasons ALL of our taxes will go down while the economy grows ... read more below and urge your politicians to support the Fair Tax!!
You're forgetting that they live 15-20 people in a one or two bedroom house/apartment.

Illegal aliens are generally paid under the table. They don't pay taxes. Illegal aliens send over $60 billion a year out of the U.S. each year and that is a low estimate. That is assuming that each of 20 million illegal alien workers in the U.S. are sending just $250 a month out of the U.S..

illegal aliens dont pay all taxes..u think they are covered by any healthcare insurance at all??nobody cares what happens to them while working or just outside their house...same with medicare tax..no papers no insurance of any sort. moreover these people dont live the luxury live ..they live everyday as if it was their last chance to gather some money to send back home...why would they buy things in a country if they might get kicked out any minute???No i dont believe its fair for others to pay taxes and thers not to...America is way to complicated in its taxation system, there should be a way that everyone pays tax no matter if there is a social security numer involved or not..other countries have no social security crap...everyone just pays tax.
You guys don' t know. YES taxes are paid...they are taken from each paycheck. Don't you know this. If you don't...even with a fake social security, you still have the right address and all. If they don't pay taxes they would be more in trouble. These people are scared to be deported...so they WILL and DO pay taxes. Even if the DON'T and WON'T get anything back and don't get any benefits.
You mention all the taxes, and question the services, but there are a few areas that are taxpayer-funded and almost everyone uses to their own benefit.
1. Education. While the public education system is not necessarily in the greatest shape, there are still many countries in the world that have NO education system. So anyone who goes to a public school, or sends their kids to a public school, is getting a benefit from the taxes they pay. Even public universities are mainly funded by taxes, not tuition.
2. Recreation. Everyone uses some form of public recreation that is taxpayer-funded. Swimming pools, golf courses, hiking trails, playgrounds, most of these things are publicly-funded. Even many private recreation facilities use some portion of tax money, through grants or loans, to be built and operate.
3. Transportation. Everyone has to get from point A to point B, and all transportation is taxpayer-funded in some way. Public transportation is hardly funded by fares, it's mostly funded by taxes. Driving your own vehicle means you're driving on roads built and maintained by your state's Department of Transportation, which is taxpayer-funded. Even walking is taxpayer-funded because the sidewalks are built with tax money.
These are just three areas where taxpayer money is spent in a manner that benefits the taxpayer directly. I could list many more, but don't want to make this a longer read than it already is. Be glad for your client that he has enough money for rent and transportation and utilities. There are many people in this world who don't even have that.
