They want what they want when they want it and that's the only excuse they think matters. Of course it's not like they'd admit that but it's plain for all to see. But not all of them believe that. The hispanic illegals want their people to be allowed to come in by the millions. It's the other groups that they think should wait. Not only that, but they actually want the natives (non-hispanic) to leave!

Because they are desperate in live in such poverty. They are only looking to get their own needs met and do not consider what they are doing to our country. It is an overwhelming problem that we need to get serious about if we want to maintain a decent quality of life.

Actually, most illegal aliens can't come here legally. There are no laws that would allow them to immigrate legally, there is no line for them to wait in. Poor, uneducated people cannot immigrate legally unless they have a close relative who is a citizen or resident. If they don't have that, then they are SOL. If their family is starving, they come anyway.
Not to say that we should let in every poor uneducated foreigner, but it is a myth that people come illegally because they don't want to wait in line. Most of them would gladly wait rather that pay several thousand dollars and risk their lives in the desert. The immigration laws simply make it impossible.
I know I will get plenty of thumbs down for this answer, but it is the truth.
