I'm with you. I can't figure it out. Votes is the only thing I can think of. I know illegals vote using fake I.D and someone else's S.S number. They out number legals 14 to 1 I heard on the news. I have been calling the government officials I can get number to and write e-mail, sending letter, etc. Hoping someone will help this invasion of illegals

And if you live in one of the overly-crowded cities near the borders like I, then you'll get extreme traffic jams (due to some stinky, rusted old beat-up trucks (that you KNOW did not pass anyone's smog test); 7 out of 10 radio stations blarring crap in espanol day and night; illegals looking at you as though YOUR the one in the wrong country (especially if your Black and then the look includes disgust); and you also get to look forward to your kids being suspended from school for fighting to defend themselves against some stupid pee-wee mexican gang patterned after their parent's retarded gang...

The politicians are working for people who want cheap labor.
But they have to get votes from people who want decent wages.
So they make up these goofy plans to confuse the voters, while not doing anything to stop illegal immigration. Reducing illegal immigration would be easy. Instead of building a wall, or pursuing penniless non-citizens, put the money into a reward plan which targets American hirers of illegal immigrants. If you turn in a company or individual hiring illegals, you get X dollars per illegal. The plan then pays for itself out of fines levied against the Americans who are hiring the illegals. Instead of a "revolving door" of immigrant capture and release of poor people who couldn't pay a fine anyway, you target people who have something at stake in America. They have enough money to try and cheat to hire someone on the sly and get more! This means they have enough money to pay a fine. But this idea has about zero chance in Congress because then they would have to pay minimum wage to get their condos cleaned, instead of using those hard working but illegal immigrants.
The cheapest labor will always be illegal. Think about it. Child slavery, for example.
I think because of the ages of most of our politicians anymore - they don't quite have the capacity to think - Only to do what they're told by government administrations, and presidents.
I have been following throughout the day today and have heard more about this than I normally would. If you think it's bad now - with the politicians "thinking". Wait until you hear this.
It has been mentioned that these new sets of illegals will costs the American, and Naturalized citizens trillions of dollars.
The fee that the illegals will be required to pay, and the other small fees - is nothing compared to all the tax dollars they will not have to pay or re-pay for being here all the years they have been illegally.
We get their gangs and drug smugglers - cause the government seems to think that those Mexicans will keep their word and denounce their gang affiliates.
The border fence is being down-sized from 850 plus miles to 750 to a mere 200 plus miles.
Attorneys will be taken away from the American poor, and legal underclass, and given to the illegals for their legal or deportation status at American tax payers expense.
Americans will be footing the bill for developing Mexico. Businesses, education around on and for skilled and technical workers, the health care of Mexicos poor, and underclass, dealing with the drug-lords and gangs, If a Z visa worker gets injured in the US, the US will send them back to Mexico to recover in a Mexican hospital funded by American tax payers, make it easier for them to send money back home to Mexico, etc...
Oh, and the kicker... Mexican officials will be handed over the keys regarding the security, and securing of our borders.
It seems to me that we need to concern ourselves less about the people at the bottom of the income scale and more about the thieves and racketeers at the top who exploit cheap labor here and overseas, export our industries and steal the pensions of working class Americans without batting an eye.
These are the people, your Chamber of Commerce men, who want the cheap labor and the use that can be made of undocumented people to break unions, and keep labor costs down so they can give themselves a quarterly bonus greater than the GNP of some countries. They, these people, are the worms in the apple. They are robbing the country blind and betraying their own people for profit.
Look: GE complained that they had to move their TV business to Mexico to keep prices down in the states. Here their average labor cost was $21.00/hr. In Mexico it droped to $0.60 but the TVs here cost the same after the move as before.
So both economies were injured, Nothing in the pay scale helped Mexico and thousands lost their jobs in the States.
These are the people who will move industries to Dubai or ,as Cheney did when he was CEO of Haliburton, move offices to the Caymen Islands to avoid paying taxes to this government. These are the people who are the most menacing to this house of cards. Corruption is their very name.
