Well, unless things have changed drastically since I was a Teamster, the logic goes something like this:
1. The Teamster elites make millions skimming money off the union dues and from shaking down management in union shops.
2. Union membership has been dropping steadily over the past two decades, which cuts into the available pool of cash (see Point 1).
3. Mestizos who sneak into the US from third world armpit countries have never known anything BUT corruption and kickbacks. The wacky shenanigans of the Teamster thugs is business as usual as far as they know.
4. Illegal aliens, unionized or not, tend to keep their heads down and their mouths shut when it comes to working conditions, pay issues, corruption, etc. No one is going to blow the whistle at the risk of being sent back to East Armpitsylvania.
So basically, nothing has changed in the past hundred years or so. The union thugs have always used immigrants to enrich themselves and to h*ll with the rest of the country.
Honestly I don't know why they would do such a thing.
But there are surely enough of them out there, maybe one of them have an answer for you.
Or maybe they don't care where their hard earn money goes.
Because membership is WAY down, and the Union relies upon numbers to influence politics.
In a nutshell, they have lost power and don't like it.
